Grand Hyatt Mumbai houses one of the finest collections of commissioned art in a public space in the region. Inspired by the city of Mumbai and the great archaeological sites of Elephanta near Mumbai, the works at the hotel showcase both established Indian artists like Jitesh Kallat, Krishnamachari Bose, Sudarshan Shetty, Atul Dodiya, Anju Dodiya, Laxman Shreshtha, Nalini Malani, Tanuja Rane among others, as well as local artisans and craftspeople.

The hotel’s public areas, lobbies, gardens and restaurants are unique galleries with special commissioned installations that give artists a platform to present their works to a larger audience while nurturing indigenous craft forms and giving them contemporary relevance.
